Toongabbie Primary School provides quality educational experiences for the children residing in our local area, in a safe and caring environment. It is our purpose to develop academic success in all our students, equipping them with a strong skill base in Literacy and Numeracy and developing students who are critical thinkers and independent learners. Our inclusive setting encourages the input and inclusion of parents and local community members in the social and educational advancement of our students. We strive for our students to become active participants in the creation and growth of social and educational ability.

Through a team based approach to agreed whole school programs, our innovative school delivers educational opportunities that address the unique needs of every child.

Toongabbie Primary School is a School Wide Positive Behaviours (SWPBS) school. The SWPBS framework is founded on a positive approach to whole school wellbeing with targeted approaches for students with higher levels of need. SWPBS provides schools with a decision-making framework that uses data to guide selection and implementation of the best evidence-based academic and behavioural practices across the whole school.

Our school provides students with a range of classes including German, Fine Arts and Music conducted by specialist teachers. Other areas students and teachers work together on include sustainability, sciences and physical education. Our students have many opportunities to work with other organisations to promote confidence and leadership skills.
