Supporting Toongabbie

The Toongabbie Recreation Reserves Committee (TRRC) is the statutory committee which manages the cricket, skate-park, playgroup, badminton, gymkhana, tennis, golf and men’s shed premises, as well as the community centre (the large hall, meeting room, social rooms and kitchen), the Water Reserve (Stringer’s Road), the playground (Victoria St) and the Village Green.

The Committee of volunteers is appointed each three years by the State Government, following a public meeting.

It raises funds for the improvement of facilities by conducting events such as the annual machinery sale and auction; and vigorously pursuing grant opportunities with local, state and federal governments, as well as the philanthropic sector.  These efforts assist all user groups, and the community generally.

President: Trevor Dalach
Secretary: Mark Woods – 5192 4509
Treasurer: Roger Ries – 5192 4702

The committee meets on the second Monday of each month at the meeting room in the community centre at 8pm.
