The cenotaph opening was supported by the Troopers from The 13th Gippsland Lighthorse Regiment, Catafalque Party from the RAAF Base East Sale with members from Air Candidate Management Centre & Officer Training School at the Base.
Bagpiper L/Cpl Alex Ross from 5th/6th Royal Victorian Regiment who played while the wreaths were laid at the cenotaph.
‘Thank you’ to local resident Leanne for organising the community morning tea. Not only did it look amazing, it tasted amazing too!

The cenotaph also honours those who undertook peacekeeping services in Boer War, China, Korean War, Malayan Emergency, Vietnam War, Indonesia, Gulf War, Iraq and Afghanistan
