Have you seen the beautiful new tree guards at the Toongabbie Mechanics Institute? These improved tree guards were installed in early July 2027.

Four new guards were constructed and installed by the Toongabbie Mens Shed. The Mens Shed also repainted two of the existing guards to match the new guards.

This is a great example of small town groups coming together to deliver a project. The Mechanics Hall committee identified the opportunity of improving amenity around the hall, the Mens Shed did the excellent construction and installation, and the Toongabbie Township Group secured the funding via a Latrobe City Council grant.
